PURPOSE:
Highly efficient intumescent wood impregnant and preservative. Turns wood into ignition resistant and hardly combustible material, provides group 1 and group 2 of fire protection efficiency according to GOST R 53292-2009. Suitable for interior and exterior use.
PROPERTIES:
- Ensures fire-proof efficiency group I and II (with low consumption!).
- Period of retention of fire protective effects - up to 7 years.
- Ensures protection from decay and mold infestation.
- Period of retention of bioprotective effect - up to 10 years.
- Tones wood with red color for quality control of works performed.
- Colorless option is available.
TYPICAL USE: Use for fire protection and preservative treatment of wooden walls, beams, rafters, boards, joists, window and door units and other wooden constructions.
After 12-14 days, you can overcoat the treated wood with alkyd enamels.
WARNING! Do not overcoat with acrylic-urethane-based products.
HOW IT WORKS: When exposed to fire, the coating expands and creates an insulation barrier, blocking access of oxygen, prevents wood from reaching its ignition point.
